7-14-20 THOUGHTS

Ps 139:17   How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
I love big picture thinking.  Standing afar off and seeing what matters.  No details, just   “This is it!”
We live in a sick and confusing world.  Fatigue, lack of focus, apathy, depression...  Words that we fight now and then huh?  We must continually put our HEARTS back in proper perspective!
It must be God’s PERSPECTIVE!  So think with me this morning about...
WHAT TRULY MATTERS!

John 3:16  "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
1John 3:1   See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
1John 4:9-10    By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1John 1:7   but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1John 1:9   If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1John 2:1   My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;
We could go on and on.  Read Ephesians 1 & 2 and Colossians 1 & 2.  
GOD HAS DONE WONDERFUL THINGS FOR US IN CHRIST JESUS!

My Prayer:
Father God, we are awed as we think of your great love for us!  We are amazed at the picture of your crucified Son and the great cost of our souls.  Thank you Oh God for supplying what mattered.  We praise you for Grace, and mercy and love.  Thank you for being in our lives.
